Role of National Centre of Excellence (NCoE) Incubation Program in Supporting Security Startups
With a vision to make India a global reference for cyber security research, innovation, and entrepreneurship, the National Centre of Excellence offers a world-class cybersecurity startup incubation program with academia-industry connect.
NCoE is a joint initiative by the Ministry of Electronics & IT (MeitY) and Data Security Council of India (DSCI) to create future unicorns by accelerating the momentum of cybersecurity research & innovation through effective collaboration between the industry, academia & government. The cybersecurity incubator has incubated 33 startups and supporting 100 more with 27 mentors & 23 academic partners.
NCoE offers three types of incubations programs for startups, these are as follows:
- Security startups with an idea that need an incubation space.
- A program for entrepreneurs & aspiring founders with expertise but do not have any startup idea or office space.
- Startups with their own spaces but are seeking virtual support.
